El viernes , a las 9:00 p.m, el canal emitirá en exclusiva, la ceremonia anual de los galardones  que reconocen las mejores producciones en los géneros de terror, ciencia ficción y fantasía y cuya lista de nominados la encabeza “El Caballero de la Noche”, con 21 postulaciones, e incluye también a ‘Battlestar Gallactica” como Mejor programa de TV.

La noche de , presenta en exclusiva la tercera edición de los Scream Awards, premio que honra lo mejor en los géneros del terror, la ciencia ficción, el gore y la fantasía en sus distintas expresiones como el , la televisión y los libros de cómics.

Además de distinguir a íconos y pioneros que influyeron y contribuyeron en la industria, los Scream Awards también celebran lo más nuevo y emocionante en los distintos géneros mencionados. Las categorías son muy poco convencionales y van desde Mejor película de horror y Mejor superhéroe, hasta el grito máximo, el villano más malo y la mutilación más memorable.

Este año, la lista de nominaciones la lidera El Caballero de la Noche (The ), con 21 postulaciones. Otras producciones multinominadas son El hombre de hierro (Iron Man), Hellboy II, Cloverfield, Hulk, el hombre increíble (The ) y Se busca (Wanted).

La ceremonia de entrega de los Scream Awards 2008 se transmitirá el viernes ,  a las 21:00 hrs.
